Today is Harry Houdini’s 137th birthday. And the only reason I came across this is by noticing the logo. I have a curious mind so I did a bit of research. Right away I was struck by a picture of him laden with chains and padlocks. Houdini was a heavy restriction slut!
Think about it! Nowadays a person like him would be exactly the type of bondage and restriction player one sees at a play party. OK he would be a really big challenge for even the best restriction/rope top….but he is a restriction slut! And the worst kind for me lol! I know rope bottoms usually love to be allowed to struggle out of the ropes you have attached them with but I enjoy untying as much as I enjoy tying. I get into a meditation zone doing it. So if I were to tie Houdini up and he slipped out of my ropes boy would the brat be in trouble!
He is most famous for such acts as the Milk Can Escape, the Suspended Straitjacket Escape, the Buried Alive stunt and probably the most impressive one, the Chinese Water Torture Cell. This sounds like a video straight out of Water Bondage. In this escape, Houdini’s feet would be locked in stocks, and he would be lowered upside down into a tank filled with water. The mahogany and metal cell featured a glass front, through which audiences could clearly see Houdini. The stocks would be locked to the top of the cell, and a curtain would conceal his escape. Note the curtain was not to cheat the escape but rather to protect the audience of gross physical displays like dislocations.
